Green Roman Glass Necklace
This necklace is truly special, giving off a vintage vibe while also being thoroughly modern. Its main feature is the bar of one-of-a-kind Roman glass beads in a variety of shades of green and grey. These recycled glass beads are complimented by a marbled-green Czech glass bead and vintage bronze spear-paddle.
“Roman Glass” gets its name from the people in the areas along the Silk Road trading route who used fragments of ancient bits of glass left behind by Romans to make new items. The story behind these specific beads is that they were created from salvaged bits of pottery and glass in Afghanistan.
