Challah At Me Necklace

$105.00

Challah is a special type of braided bread eaten by Jewish people on Shabbat (the sabbath) and other holidays. It’s pillowy soft, slightly sweet, and helps us celebrate the gift of Shabbat. To me, challah also symbolizes the joy I get from hosting friends and family on Shabbat, so wearing this pendant is my way of saying, “You’re always welcome at my table.” Although there are many ways to braid a challah, I designed this loaf to mimic the one most commonly on my table, produced by a Jewish bakery in the Baltimore/Washington DC metropolitan area.

  • Each challah loaf is solid sterling silver, 1.75” long

  • Sterling silver lobster clasp and curb chain

  • This necklace is designed to rest right below the collarbone and comes in either a 16” or 18” length. (Amy is shown wearing the 18” long necklace; if you’re more petite, try the 16” length.)
